El Montseny

Natural Park of El Montseny is located in the Catalan Pre-coastal Mountain Range. It is made up of three different orographical units: el turó de l’Homeles Agudes, el Matagalls and el Pla de la Calma; since 1977-1978 has been legally protected by a Special Plan and in 1978 Unesco included El Montseny in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves in the MAB Programme (Man and Biosphere).
